While working with eminent Architects and Institutions on projects ranging from drafting Action Policies for Heritage Precincts to Slum Rehabilitation projects, she took keen interest in the urban studies and settlements. Over two decades, her persuasion in ‘recording as tool of understanding’ made her diversify her interest from the professional field of Architecture Design towards the studies of heritage precincts, teaching undergraduate architecture course, conducting workshops and exhibitions. Her method of teaching focuses on the initiating of query through a critical analysis of conditions in order to substantiate the research mode of learning for design tools.
